Dr. Markus Gangl studied theoretical physics at the University of Innsbruck, specialising in quantum optics. His diploma and PhD theses focused on laser cooling of atoms, and he has published several articles on this topic in internationally renowned journals. Dr. Markus Gangl has been working as a patent attorney since 2007 and is admitted to practice before the Austrian Patent Office in Vienna, the European Patent Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. Furthermore, he is a member of the European Patent Litigators Association (EPLIT) and is therefore admitted to practice before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
