Dr. Almar Lercher studied physics at the University of Würzburg, Germany, and the State University of New York, USA. As part of his phD thesis at the University of Innsbruck, he worked in the field of experimental quantum physics on mixtures of ultracold atoms near absolute zero and was involved in several scientific publications in internationally renowned journals. Dr. Almar Lercher has been working as a patent attorney since 2016 and is admitted to practice before the Austrian Patent Office in Vienna, the European Patent Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva.
